What can one do without lighting? Electricity and its importance in our lives’ is so chronic in today’s times that we have grown dependent on its availability. The need for light in our homes is essential even in the day. Indoor lighting is a form of lighting that is experimented and used in different ways. Many types of lights are used like the normal tube lights or the white lights as the layman’s would call it. The tungsten light is a soft light which emits a nice yellow beam which gives a very gloomy effect. Different colours of glasses are used to create varied moods. The red form of light gives a very misty, eerie effect. Many photographers experiment with lighting to create shadows and communicate an idea. The red light is used by photographers to develop photos in an otherwise dark room. Thus there are different uses and importance of lighting. A lamp over a study table is used to get direct light over a book and be able to read it without stressing the eyes in the darkness of a night. Neon lights are played with in many living spaces. In order to have party at home, disco balls with different lights and flashlights can be used to make the place look more fun. It helps create a frame of mind. It lets you see even when the sun has set on you.
