5 aspects to keep your baby safe

Being a parent is one of the greatest challenges in life. It is joyful incidence to be a parent for the first time. With joy it brings responsibilities too! It is a challenging stuff to be a parent and it realizes after some days of giving birth to the child. There are many responsibilities for a mother to develop her child better. She gives all time of her to develop her child naturally and safely. She keeps a Baby Log to note down daily activities and other important notes about the baby. There are certain conditions where a mother confuses about whether she is following a right way of development of the baby or not. In such conditions, many questions arise in mother’s mind. Such conditions are tried to be resolved in this article. This article will provide a right way of thinking in certain conditions where you feel yourself confused.

 

1. Breathing: you’ll notice changes in the normal things your baby does. Sometimes your baby is taking normal breaths while sleeping, feeding or playing in your lap. Sometimes there is a change in the breaths and you feel to be abnormal. Don’t worry, it is normal. Baby has a little nose and it does like this. If your baby is having difficulty in breathing, seek for a medical help.

 

2. Feeding: Everyone has a different idea about feeding baby. If your baby is breastfed then he may feed 8-12 times during one day and night, and if he is bottle fed then he may feed every 1-3 hours, but this isn’t set in stone. It may be different for your baby.

 

3. Temperature: Overheating and too cold temperature both are dangerous for your baby. 40.8 to 46.8 degree Fahrenheit is a good temperature for your baby to be safe and healthy. Keep your baby’s room temperature between 40.8 and 46.8 degree. 

 

4. Sleep and crying: You may be worrying about your bay’s sleep and crying. You are not alone, many parents have such confusion about how long a baby should sleep and what are the meanings of baby’s cry. Some baby sleep for a long period while some baby sleep for a short time. The sleeping period depends on baby’s health and feeding period. If your baby sleeps for a long period of 5-6 hours, he should get more feed. When there is a question of crying, it is baby’s natural habit. Babies often cry for getting parent’s attention. He may need feed or some one to play with him. Just pay attention to him and feed him if required. You should also note down baby’s sleeping periods in the Baby Log.

 

5. Germs in home: Germs comes in home by several ways. What you need to do is to keep your home neat and clean. Don’t let baby to stay in touch with dirty things. And never let anybody who is ill to play with your baby holding him in lap. It may be dangerous for your baby.  

 

So these are some aspects you can check out and keep a track of your baby’s development.
