Make time to rest your eyes for ten minutes after a busy day. Place a piece of cucumber or cotton ball dampened with witch hazel or a gentle skin tonic or astringent over each eye, lies back and simply relaxes. Always do this indoors or in the shade. Wash your face and eyes after regular intervals: Splash-cleaning your face with cool water is also extremely refreshing for both your skin and eyes.

Follow some simple eye exercises: There are various easy-to-do eye exercises that you can include in your daily routine, like blinking your eyes several times, closing your eyes and then rolling them in clockwise and anti-clockwise direction. While doing these activities, try to inhale and exhale deeply, and then open your eyes slowly after the exercises.
