Caffein is a bitter, white crystalline xanthine alkaloid that is a psychoactive stimulant drug. Caffeine was discovered by a German chemist, Friedrich Ferdinand Runge, in 1819. He coined the term kaffein, a compound in coffee berry (the German word for which is Kaffee), which in English became caffeine (and altered to Koffein in German).

Caffeine is found in varying quantities in the beans, leaves, and fruit of some plants, where it acts as a natural pesticide that paralyzes and kills certain insects feeding on the plants. It is almost ordinarily taken by people in infusions pulled up from the bean of the coffee plant and the leaves of the tea bush, as well as from various foods and beverages carrying products derived from the kola nut. Other sources include yerba mate, guarana berries, and the Yaupon Holly.

Caffeine pills are oft used for weight loss, and as a pick me up later in the day. The mean caffeine pill contains 200mg of caffeine, tantamount to two cups of strong coffee. They are not inherently unsafe but do require caution.

Caffeine pills are often pushed as being "as safe as coffee" but unlike coffee it is very easy to take overmuch caffeine. This can lead to horrendous outcomes. Caffeine effects are common problems in people with eating disorders. These substances stimulate the CNS of the body and can cause addiction.

Some people consider that caffeine pills will not help them lose weight. Drinking caffeinated drinks or taking pills containing caffeine ultimately stimulates increased appetite for sweets and fatty foods. So you should stay away from sweets for the sake of loosing weight.

Caffeine pills are an extremely popular choice for those wanting to lose weight or hike up their energy. Since the level of success is high, caffeine pills are the top dietary supplement on the market today. Caffeine pills have varying issues on those who take them, and while they put up benefits, they also pose risks. Caffeine pills for weight loss have been on the market for about 50 years, and if they did work effectively, anyone who required to lose weight would use them. They clearly are no replacement for diet and exercise and will not do massive weight loss.
