| Indoor lighting can be done in two ways. One is the natural method where sunlight is the main source whereas the other is artificial method. This includes the various lighting fixtures. Natural light can be put into use by carefully positioning the doors and windows and keeping the latter open when the sun is out. Another way of using natural light is to use glass panels or frosted tiles. They act as a thin wall and at the same time provide light. Sky lights are also very useful and provide light to the room just like a typical ceiling unit. However the biggest disadvantage of the natural light is that it is available only during day time. On the other hand, artificial lights operate by means of electricity or battery. It consists of fluorescent lamps, incandescent bulbs and even LED lighting units. All these are easy to use and are mostly used in the night time or when the sky turns cloudy. Again this artificial lighting can be of various types and depending upon how you place the fixtures and what type they are, they can add to the beauty of your home. Gone are the days when lights were just meant to illuminate the house as now they are more of a fashion accessory which people love to showcase. Thus Indoor Lighting is very important. Although that the natural light comes for free yet, it cannot be used when we actually require it, i.e. when darkness sets in.
