Where did Halloween Go?

So I realized something about Halloween this weekend and I wanted to share it with all of you. This year I decided to get an early start on my costume, so I went to Target to get some ideas from their costumes. I start looking for the Halloween aisle and it took me a good 10 minutes to find the costumes section. When I find it and see that is only ONE AISLE LONG, I come to the conclusion that there must be another part of the store reserved for Halloween stuff. I found an employee and asked where the rest of the October 31st stuff was at, and he replied with, “that’s all we have.” I looked around and found two full aisle dedicated to Christmas decorations. To me Halloween has always been one of the best holidays. You don’t have to spend a bunch of money buying presents for people you really don’t like that much, like family. This is one of the only holidays that’s just about having a good time with your friends. I don’t know why but lately in the last couple of years, Halloween has been less of a celebrated holiday. I think there are two reasons for this. One, a lot of us have incredibly busy lives and just don’t have the time to go out and search for the right costumes. Second, people think that you need a lot of money to have a great looking costume. I have built a site that will hopefully help bring back a bit of Halloweens glory. This holiday is not just about kids going out to get candy. I believe it’s about going out and doing something you would never do on an ordinary day, hanging out with friends, making new friends, and making memories. So whether you only have a couple of bucks to spend this year or you don’t have much time to find the right costume, this will help you. You no longer have an excuse not to dress up this year. Dress up go out and enjoy this amazing holiday with all your friends. Marco Antonio Jaimes Founder of http://www.scarycostumesdepot.com
