What does a “registry record exists” result mean?
It means a record matching your search exists in at least one of the 11 national business registers we index. It is not a credit check, a KYC/AML screen or an endorsement of the company — it only confirms a registration record is on file.
The company I searched for is not listed. Is it fake?
Not necessarily. Absence from these 11 registries is not proof a company is fake. It may be registered in a jurisdiction we do not track, trade under a name that differs from its registered legal name, or have been registered too recently to appear in our index yet.
Which countries does the check cover?
Eleven national registers: Australia, Brazil, Czechia, Finland, France, Japan, Norway, Poland, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and the United States. A company registered anywhere else will not appear, however real it is.
Is this check free?
Yes. The registry-existence check is free and requires no account. Company profiles are also free to view; only revealing contact details uses metered credits.
What does the record grade mean?
The A–F grade shows how complete and consistent the underlying registry record is across our sources. It is a data-quality signal about the record itself — not a legitimacy, trust or credit rating of the company.
